Author Guidelines
General Requirements
The manuscript can be written in English or German and must be submitted as an open text file, such as Word. It should be approximately 16,000 characters in length (including spaces) from the abstract down to the literature, excluding keywords and the teaser. The abstract should concisely summarize the article’s content and intention, without including sources, and must not exceed 120 words. Additionally, a teaser of 500–750 characters is required as an engaging introduction to the topic, alongside 8–10 keywords. The manuscript must reference at least 12–15 sources, numbered sequentially in the text ([1], [2], etc.) and listed in a properly formatted bibliography at the end. The text should be continuous, without manual line breaks or separators, and should avoid footnotes, direct speech, and text fields.

Please draft your manuscript using this docx file (German) or, alternatively, insert each text component directly into the same file. Make sure to Paste and Match Style (macOS: Option+Shift+Command+V; Windows: Ctrl+Shift+V).
Main Body
The manuscript should use meaningful subheadings and avoid generic headings such as “Introduction,” “Conclusion,” “Outlook,” or “Summary.” Bullet points should be used sparingly and, if possible, converted into continuous text. Abbreviations must be written out in full at least once. Sources should also be incorporated in the concluding paragraph.
Illustrations
The paper should feature 3–5 photos, graphics, or tables. Photos must be in high resolution (at least 300 dpi), while images and graphics should be provided in their open original format, such as PowerPoint or Visio. Tables should be submitted as a Word file. References to images used in the text should be clearly marked as “Figure X” and, when in brackets, “(Fig. X)”. Explanatory captions should be inserted at the appropriate places in the article. Font sizes in images must not differ by more than 6 pt.
Author Information
A maximum of 5 authors can be listed and an email address should be provided for each. For articles authored by 1–3 people, a photo of each author in landscape format and with neutral background is required. Additionally, authors should provide their ORCiD number, any relevant funding code, and a shipping address for sample copies (available only in German).
Review PDF
To streamline the editorial process, we require authors to submit a review-ready PDF alongside their manuscript. Unlike the manuscript, this PDF must not contain any author information, ensuring the integrity of the double-blind peer review.
